Put a deliberate boundary around the time you spend in apps.
Replacement build 1.0 (54) is available to the existing internal TestFlight group. App Review resubmission and public release are pending. Account and hardware acceptance is still being verified; internal availability is not Apple approval.
What it is
QuitNow: Habit Tracker
The current review candidate combines intentional app sessions, cooldowns, recurring schedules and daily limits with optional friend-issued extra-time codes. Friends uses an optional Apple account connection and manually shared goals; it does not show friends your selected apps or measured Screen Time reports. Compatible iPhones can also use user-configured NFC tag actions. The earlier Journey and Rescue images are omitted because they do not describe this candidate.
- Intentional sessions with selected-app allowances, friction and cooldowns
- Recurring weekday/overnight schedules and daily app/category limits
- Optional accepted-friend invitations and manually shared goals
- Recipient-bound single-use codes: 10-minute expiry, 15-minute extra-time grant and recipient-wide cooldown
- Optional NFC Start focus, End NFC focus and Take 15 minutes actions on compatible iPhones; scans require confirmation and preserve other active rules
FREE
Useful from day one
- Seven-day trial that you explicitly start, without automatic billing
- Core focus controls do not require a QuitNow account
- Friends requires optional Sign in with Apple and a network connection
FULL
One lifetime unlock
- Existing QuitNow Full: one non-consumable lifetime unlock, no subscription
- Sessions and cooldowns, schedules and daily limits, and friend-issued extra time
- Existing purchases remain recognized; Restore Purchases remains available
PRIVACY
Local by default
- Screen Time selections and NFC configuration stay local in the inspected account flow
- Optional accounts store Apple user ID, supplied display name, accepted-friend relationships, shared goals and code/grant records on Convex in Europe (Ireland)
- The account service does not receive selected-app tokens, measured Screen Time reports or the device address book
- Hosted service operations can produce technical logs; there is no zero-retention claim
